Antigua's Carnival Antigua's Carnival is one of the biggest events in Antigua. It is a 10-day celebration, lasting from late July to early August, full of vibrant costumes, parades, the Carnival Queen pageants, live entertainment, food from booths, calypso music, and the ongoing party. Carnival is to celebrate the day slavery ended on Antigua and Barbuda in 1834 (net 4). It is the best time for tourists to be spontaneous and enjoy a party with the locals.
